It is with great sadness that the family of David LeRoy Edwards announces his passing at the age of 66.

He passed away on December 11, 2018 at the home where he resided with his significant other, Tina Warfield, and her sons, Jared and Jack Warfield. David bravely fought a three year battle with cancer and passed peacefully with Tina by his side.
David was born in Alton, IL with Belleville, IL being his hometown. He earned a Masters Degree from Eastern Illinois University and had recently retired from Washington State Community College where he was a Professor of Mathematics.

He was passionate about education and life-long learning. He loved the great outdoors, gardening, hiking, kayaking and camping. David is survived by the following family members: brother, Daniel Edwards with wife Sarah Swett; sister, Donna Reifschneider (Edwards) with husband James; sister, Debra Edwards with husband Stephen Perkins; nieces and nephews, Henry Edwards, Jennifer and Matthew L
